Your Mission
As our Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will assist in the protection of critical infrastructure and sensitive data. You will work closely with senior security architects to identify vulnerabilities and respond to potential threats in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools to identify potential intrusions or anomalies.
- Assist in the execution of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate logs for compliance reporting.
- Participate in security awareness training and help educate internal stakeholders on best practices.
- Conduct research on the latest cybersecurity threats and emerging attack vectors.
- Support the implementation of security patches and updates across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- A strong desire to learn and a passion for protecting digital assets.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical team members.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (we will sponsor training).
