Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents per NIST framework guidelines
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/Bash
- Collaborate on threat hunting initiatives using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports for stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats through continuous research
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or relevant experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field
