Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems for threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and implement remediation protocols
- Develop and maintain security documentation and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Perform security audits and compliance checks

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 2+ years cybersecurity experience (part-time or equivalent)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
