Upon completion, you'll transition to a full-time role monitoring security operations, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing protective measures. No prior experience required—just a dedication to learning and protecting digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Analyze network traffic patterns to identify potential breaches
- Document and escalate security incidents according to protocol
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools
- Assist in developing security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
