Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems for threats and vulnerabilities using SIEM tools
- Investigate and document security incidents following NIST frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security controls and best practices across networks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, NIST)
- Generate incident reports and security dashboards for stakeholders
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation post-training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if required)
