About the Role:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst Trainee, you will work alongside senior security professionals to monitor network traffic, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents. This role is perfect for those looking to break into the tech industry without prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across enterprise networks in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing activities.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents and breaches promptly.
- Configure and manage security appliances, including Firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
- Document security incidents, findings, and resolutions for compliance reporting.
- Support the implementation of security policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and hardware components.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
