Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks for vulnerabilities, intrusions, and suspicious activity
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Implement security controls and best practices across organizational systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (NIST, HIPAA)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity trends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Willingness to complete paid cybersecurity certification training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
