Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents 24/7
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement NIST and CIS compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response
- Document security procedures and create threat intelligence reports
- Maintain security controls and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
