Responsibilities
- Assist in Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain high-performance software solutions for our equity options trading systems.
- Code Implementation: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or C++ under supervision.
- System Testing: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure system stability and accuracy in volatile market conditions.
- Data Analysis: Help process and analyze large datasets to identify trends and optimize trading strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within the engineering department.
- Support: Provide technical support for existing trading tools and internal applications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience Level: No prior professional experience required. We are seeking entry-level candidates with a strong academic background or internship experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or C#) and data structures.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion: A keen interest in financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives.
