Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during night shift hours
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and intrusions
- Implement threat intelligence to proactively identify vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response protocols
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
