Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document incident reports and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
- Participate in threat hunting and proactive security measures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
