Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities across global networks
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Implement and optimize security controls, including firewall rules and intrusion detection systems
- Generate detailed incident reports and contribute to post-mortem analyses
- Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities through continuous research
- Participate in security awareness training and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security center, or incident response roles
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption, and common attack vectors
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight) and EDR solutions
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Strong written communication for incident reporting and documentation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies a plus
