Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents, perform threat hunting, and execute incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement security automation scripts for threat mitigation
- Collaborate with global teams to remediate security vulnerabilities
- Maintain detailed security documentation and compliance reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in security operations center (SOC) or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat intelligence platforms
- Ability to work independently during night shift with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize high-pressure situations
