Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal supervision
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed incident response reports
- Collaborate with global teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems and network traffic
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architectures
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CT)
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
