Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Document security events and maintain detailed incident response reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call duty for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Valid U.S. work authorization or eligible for sponsorship
