Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents across cloud/on-premises environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document incident reports and remediation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environment
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong analytical skills and incident response methodology
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
