Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalies across enterprise networks
- Conduct forensic investigations and coordinate incident response protocols
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Generate comprehensive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security audits and compliance reviews
- Develop playbooks for emerging cyber threats and attack vectors
- Provide 24/7 rotation coverage for critical security operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident response, or threat hunting)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
