Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating with global SOC teams
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed forensic logs
- Collaborate with threat intelligence teams on emerging cyber threats
- Perform security audits and compliance checks for regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with night shift exposure
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network protocols, and threat detection
- Strong incident response experience with NIST framework
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
