Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across enterprise networks during night shift hours
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage SIEM platforms and security tools to identify anomalous activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop incident response playbooks
- Generate daily security reports and executive summaries for leadership review
- Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerability trends through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize incidents under pressure
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently during night shift with minimal supervision
