Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal latency
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and document findings
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless incident handoffs
- Implement security patches and vulnerability remediation
- Generate daily security reports and executive summaries
- Stay updated on emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst roles
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack patterns
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) preferred
