Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Investigate and respond to potential security incidents with precision and urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security controls
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed audit trails
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols and threat detection methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail under pressure
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site requirements
