Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms in real-time
- Lead incident response for zero-day threats and cyber attacks during night hours
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Collaborate with global security teams during critical incident escalations
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat detection
- Document security incidents and provide actionable intelligence reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
