Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise infrastructure using Splunk and IBM QRadar
- Conduct digital forensic investigations and malware analysis for security incidents
- Develop and implement security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Coordinate incident response activities with cross-functional teams
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Professional certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and attack vectors
- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration and scripting
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations environment
- Excellent communication skills for documenting incident reports
- BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
