Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Develop and update incident response plans and playbooks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments.
- Perform security audits and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- 3+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, threat intelligence, and malware analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
