Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
- Conduct incident investigations, forensic analysis, and coordinate breach response
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and incident response plans
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for leadership and clients
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid US work authorization required
