We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations team in New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot security issues and improve system resilience.
- Participate in incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and threat hunting activities.
- Document security incidents, findings, and remediation efforts in detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a SOC, Security Operations Center, or Cybersecurity Analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common security technologies.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
