Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage SIEM solutions to correlate data and detect anomalous behavior.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security patches and firewalls.
- Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Perform forensic analysis in the event of a security breach to determine the scope and cause.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Active certification such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
