Apex Cyber Defense is looking for a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Mesa, AZ. As we expand our Security Operations Center (SOC), we need a proactive professional to monitor our network infrastructure and protect our assets from evolving cyber threats.
In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools such as Splunk and QRadar.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and potential breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and risk assessments to ensure system integrity.
- Configure and manage firewalls, anti-virus, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Assist in the creation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network topology.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desired.
- Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative security team.
