In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our client's data integrity, responding to security incidents, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches or incidents with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and updates across the network.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
