Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center (SOC). Due to an immediate expansion of our threat detection team, we are seeking a dedicated professional who can start immediately and hit the ground running.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of security experts to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential breaches.
- Incident Response: Investigate, triage, and remediate security incidents following NIST and industry best practices.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and manage the patching lifecycle to mitigate risks.
- Access Control: Manage user access rights and permissions to ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege.
- Security Audits: Assist in internal and external security audits and compliance reporting (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Firewall Configuration: Configure and manage firewall rules to block malicious traffic while ensuring business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/experience).
- Certifications: Active CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC environment or as a Security Analyst.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to start work immediately.
