As a key defender in our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while implementing robust protection protocols. We provide comprehensive training, industry certifications, and a collaborative culture focused on continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for security alerts and anomalous activity
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and malware analysis
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability remediation strategies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
