As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring systems, investigating incidents, and implementing security measures to safeguard our assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security devices.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Document security incidents, root causes, and remediation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
