Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks, applications, and cloud environments
- Lead incident response investigations including root cause analysis and remediation planning
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks for operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Proactively identify emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS (Snort, Suricata), and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and threat intelligence platforms (MISP, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
