Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms and threat intelligence feeds
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud environments and on-premise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and optimize defense mechanisms
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive-level security briefings
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Strong analytical skills with incident response expertise
- Familiarity with NIST framework and compliance standards
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days
