Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on threat detection experience
- Proficiency in security tools: SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
