Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and develop remediation plans
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Provide security awareness training to employees across the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and cloud security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
