- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security protocols
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
