Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and threat intelligence
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture across cloud/on-premise environments
- Generate incident response reports and executive security dashboards
- Stay updated on emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with threat hunting and incident response methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
