Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential intrusions in real-time.
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches and cyber incidents.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our network and applications.
- Access Control: Manage user permissions, identities, and access rights to ensure strict adherence to security protocols.
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
- Policy Development: Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certification: Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and VPN technologies.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
