Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure coding practices and patch management.
- Investigate security breaches and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Snort, or Qualys.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
