Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premises environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence feeds and proactively address emerging risks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Comply with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security data
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid environments
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
