Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and recommend remediation strategies
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (with flexible scheduling options)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and EDR platforms
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate data across multiple sources
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Ability to work independently with flexible schedule approval
