Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and threat hunting operations
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for emerging threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate executive security dashboards and reports
- Stay current on threat intelligence and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills and threat investigation experience
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to work occasional off-hours during security incidents
