Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and conduct root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and vulnerability remediation
- Perform risk assessments and compliance audits for client environments
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (with flexible scheduling options)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat detection/response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and incident response frameworks
- Experience with threat hunting and vulnerability management
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
