Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation procedures
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and defensive technologies
- Generate regular security reports for leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight)
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+ preferred)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
