Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous behavior
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response coordination
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability remediation
- Perform penetration testing and security assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotating schedule)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
