Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents for equity options trading platforms during night shift hours
- Implement and maintain SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect anomalous trading activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial systems using Nessus and Burp Suite
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop threat intelligence specific to options markets
- Document security incidents and remediation actions in compliance with FINRA regulations
- Lead penetration testing simulations against equity options infrastructure
- Train junior analysts on financial cybersecurity protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in financial services
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Familiarity with options trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, CME Globex)
- Experience with SOC operations and incident response protocols
- Ability to work independently during night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and PCI-DSS compliance
