Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze equity options trading systems for security anomalies using SIEM tools
- Implement and maintain intrusion detection/prevention systems for financial transaction networks
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents involving trading platforms
- Develop threat intelligence reports specific to options market vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with trading teams to design secure options execution environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments on trading APIs and market data feeds
- Document security procedures and compliance requirements for financial regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services or fintech
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expert knowledge of equity options trading protocols and market data systems
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Experience with network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong understanding of financial regulations (SOX, PCI-DSS, FINRA)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
