Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats targeting equity options trading platforms 24/7
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems for financial data
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents involving financial instruments
- Collaborate with trading teams to develop cybersecurity protocols for options transactions
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports for stakeholders
- Regularly patch and update systems handling sensitive option pricing data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or Finance with 3+ years security experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Deep understanding of financial markets, especially equity options trading
- Experience with weekend/shift-based security operations
- Proficiency in network security, encryption, and access control systems
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FINRA, SEC, GDPR)
