Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Python
- Lead architecture decisions for high-throughput payment processing systems
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to achieve 99.99% uptime
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and conduct internal tech talks
- Implement robust security protocols for PCI-compliant systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and AWS/GCP cloud architecture
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Strong knowledge of event-driven programming and message queues
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex algorithms
